Why Do People Focus On All The Bad Things In Life?

I hate it how the press and the people are focussing on all the bad things in life, like, I know that its terrible, the war between Israel and Lebanon, but why cant we focus on the things happening in or own country??? and why do we have to think about the the little girl on the other side of australia rather than the girl next door who got a scholarship to the best school in the country???
Come on people, stand with me here!

We can’t focus on our own country, because our government is too damn nosey.
We have to get into everyone elses business, and when we do, it becomes an issue with our country.
It’s stupid. But because there’s so much negative, that is what it’s going to be focused on.
[[Media is controlled to show you what the gov. wants, it wants you to think about other countries and other peoples kids dying...Then that's what you're going to see.]]

In journalism school we are taught to focus on the irregular, sensational and different:
Not “Dog Bites Man” but “Man Bites Dog”.
It’s about getting attention and getting ratings. Also the media thinks with just one mind. If one set of people are covering something, then everyone is covering it.

I am with you! I’d love it if the news had an equal amount (or more) of good press along with the bad. Too much negativity in this world.
Have you thought of starting your own newspaper or magazine? I have and I think I’ll start getting serious with it in about a month.. in the middle of moving right now, y’see…

The reason for this is that the majority of the public has their priorities all fucked to hell and because life can more easily be compared to a crock full of **** than a bowl full of cherries.

because of politics. We are being distracted from something or sold a pile of crap so not to question our polititions. It also makes us think hey at least our lives aren’t that bad.

Your “question” is more of a statement on your personal feelings at the moment….I unfortunatly cannot provide any answer.
