What Is The Scope Of Doing Mba In Australia And How Much Fees And Scholarships Are There In An Av. University?

G’day
It depends on your background bachelor study. If you have business/commerce degree background, then MBA is not very suitable for you, since you will most likely study the same thing again. In this case, you will be better of taking specialisation course such as Master of Finance or Master of Marketing etc to ‘deepen your knowledge’. If you dun have business/commerce degree study, then MBA will be beneficial for you, since it will give you the basic business/commerce study, plus the chance to share your experiences with the other fellow students (and vice-versa). That’s the reason why most MBA courses require a minimum of 2 years work experience in managerial level.
There are only 39 universities in Australia and they are tightly controlled, therefore the quality and recognition of their graduates are equal from wherever university you are studying from. The most important thing is you have to READ the course information carefully, since some courses may have the same name but different content.
To find out the course that you are taking and where it is offered, I suggest you to go to IDP Education Australia website (www.idp.edu.au). IDP is an organisation that gives information to international students who wants to continue their study in Australia. Once decided on the uni, fill in the application form and send it together with certified copy of your academic qualification (in English and original language). The process will take abt 2-3weeks, depending on the time of the year.
Hope this helps. Good luck on your studies :)

No one I know has gotten a residency in recent times, due to the stiffening rules. Therefore getting a job on graduating is pretty much out the window….exceptions do exist and my knowledge is limited to my friends within 3 degrees (from 2002-2006).
Moreover, it is almost unlikely that you’d get a scholarship since its not research now is it? From what I know … people TRY very hard and get jobs as TAs on campus or end up working off campus on relatively lower paid jobs.
Fees are very high these days and increase each semester (though they remain the same once you are admitted)… I suggest you spend money going to the United States/ the United Kingdom for an MBA and sooner than later if you are more keen .. as they too are tightening the noose and fees will keep increasing with passing time, but you stand a better chance of a safer future! – NO GUARANTEES though!
