So my major in college is physical education: applied health fitness. The idea is to be a personal trainer and go to graduate school for physical therapy.
My school has scholarship opportunities for every other major but mine. I want to develop one with my advisor.
Any ideas on what I could do as an internship? THanks!
We do have an athletic training program so those students take care of the teams.

You won’t be able to be an official intern unless you are actually part of a physical therapy educational program.
However, you can become a physical therapy aide/technician without any formal training. This will also count towards your observation hours. It doesn’t pay very much, but is a good experience for future PT students.
Although I’m not really sure how this would help you get a scholarship.
Perhaps if you were a volunteer for a hospital that had a scholarship program…you might be able to get a few hundred dolalrs.

Do any of the sports teams on campus need training or conditioning assistants?
Are there any rehab facilities in your area where you could intern as a PT assistant?
