However if by a shrink you mean a psychiatrist, you need to go to medical school after doing your undergrad, then get a psychiatric residency. A psychology degree would be great undergrad preparation – but you need to ensure you do the standard pre med subjects. If you want to become a clinical psychologist then you will need at least a Masters and preferably a Phd.
