I’m considering switching majors from nutrition/dietetics to education. It would be at the same college. I’m wondering how diffcult it is, generally, to enter the education major. Is there alot of competition like nursing programs?
Thanks for the responses!

My mother wants me to drop out of college, but I just LOVE learning so much. I even want to get a scholarship to graduate school! My question is… is it worth it to stay in college? I’ll have about $60,000 to pay off at the end.

I never seem to be able to find enough time to work full time and attend college full time. I am 21 and really want to earn a degree to help accelerate my earnings. I have heard many different stories about attending online schools, such as they are not looked upon well by employers. The whole aspect of being able to work on school whenever I have time, not driving as much (killer Gas Prices), and being able to studying almost anywhere is attractive to me. What bothers me is not having the social experience that traditional college and university have. That is something I am willing to give up to be able to find time and earn a degree in Business and Finance. If anyone has any information on online schools or maybe just some advice on the subject please let me know. If someone out there has attended an online university, your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone =)

The type of kids that go there

Are there any scholarship opportunities for students planning to study economics upon entering college in the fall of 2010? They need to be non-school-specific scholarships, and aimed at undergraduate students rather than graduate or doctoral. Thank you!

I am in the process of researching careers I have never considered before as a possible career change. I am interested in accounting but I just finished graduate school and am in no hurry to go back. Is there a way for a person to go into accounting without a business degree or attending business school? If not, do you know of any alternative education program that offers a fellowship or scholarship to enter an accounting program? Thanks.

Right now, I am planning on transferring to NIU and majoring in Music Education. I am still searching for other options. I have been searching for the best music education programs in Illinois and can’t find any definitive answers. I only want public schools so that narrows things down a little bit. If anyone has any information regarding any other music education programs, or the one I plan on entering, would be greatly appreciated.
