I am looking for any collage or university in England that has the following major: Primary school teaching. I am also looking for scholarships for international students since I live and am an United States citizen, and I do not graduate from high school until May or June of 2009.

Is Xavier University a known college outside of Ohio and is there business program worth moving out of state? The cost is not a factor because a scholarship has been awarded, and everyone pays the same tuition because it is private. There business program ranked 69 in business week magazine, but would it be possible to network in major cities including NYC or DC with a BBA from Xavier University? Of course a degree from a more nationally known graduate school will supplement this degree, but is Xavier program rigorous enough to gain entry into the top law programs?

I am due in September 2009 (Yah!) However; next semester I will have officially graduated from my college. I start graduate school in January (online classes at an Art College) however; I need to finish three classes at state first. My question is should I push back my education in order to take care of my child, even though… typically those who do stop tend to not go back when planned. And the scholarship money and financial aid assistance that I will be receiving will assist me with money instead of me working long hours at work. And typically my classes are all on one day and only an hour 1/2 each is that really that bad? Or will I be to exhausted to even want to participate in school?

I need to know if i need to be looking for scholarships. i will be joining the Navy when i graduate from high School but i’ll be going to OSU (still applying) for NROTC. does the military pay for that even if you aren’t going directly to their academy or do you have to pay for tuition?
I am trying to decide which college to go to for an undergraduate degree in computer science, and I want to look good for top-notch computer science graduate schools, namely the ivy-leagues. I know illinois is ranked a lot higher than Purdue is for computer science, but I would have in-state tuition with Purdue. University of illinois would cost a lotttt if I went there. But Purdue would basically be free for me after financial aid, grants, and scholarships. So, with graduate school in mind, does the school I go to really matter? Would going to Illinois give me an edge over Purdue? I mean I know it’s how well I do as an undergraduate, but what if I did really good at any school I went to. Would Illinois give me an edge, or for that matter would a really good school for computer science give me an edge over Purdue in graduate admissions?
I am currently a Ga resident, and am attending a technical school here, but I graduated H.S. in Fl. Does this mean I can’t get the Hope Fund? I understand there are gpa requirements too, just wanna know if I qualify before I apply.
I was recently awarded a scholarship from college. I have worked really hard to earn this award and I am greatful to be acknowledge by my professors and institution. I have been accepted to graduate school along with a very close friend of mine who is also enrolled at the same program. The issue that is bothering me is that when I told her about my scholarship she didn’t react like what most friends react when they hear about something positive from a friend; meaning she didn’t say: Congratulations or Good Job. It’s not like I need her to say these words but it would have meant a lot to me if she did because she is my good friend. I guess the underlining issue is that I am worried she may be upset at me that she didn’t get an award as well.
The thing is I am really hesitant when sharing certain information such as awards or anything that is in my favour with certain types of friends who I know may be bothered for whatever the reason. I felt like I had to tell her because she is my friend and we are going to grad school together so we might as well be as close friends as we can since we will be living together.
All my other friends are really happy for me and all have given me good wishes. Just with her it’s different. I haven’t let this issue bother me that much as I have encounter awkward situations like this before. I just hope she isn’t upset at me but rather happy for me because I would be happy for her if the roles were reversed.
I’m not one to show off if any one thinks that is the case. In fact, I am quite modest. That’s why I said I am hesitant to share news in my favour with certain people if I feel like they may be bothered.
