I live in the UK and am in Year 10 in Secondary School. I dont like to be big headed, but im an over-achiever. I really would liek to study in the USA. IS it possible to win a scholarship to go there? If so, what sort of thing can win me one? Outstanding GCSE or A level grades? I am predicted all A GCSE’s.

You can apply for academic based scholarships –apply to small schools that seek diversity in their student bodies. Private schools are your best option for these scholarships.
In the US, college admission is super competitive–so having good grades doesn’t point to a scholarship. You must be well rounded, participate in many activities, have interesting hobbies and experiences.
