Is It Possible To Study Medicine As International Student In The Usa???

i have got an offer for a bachelors degree with full scholarships in an university in the USA.
i am a international student planning to do a bachelors along with pre-med from the USA and then i am planning to study medicine there. Finally i want to return to my home country and practice here. I dont want to study medicine in my home country as it has the worst medical studies!
Is this route good for me? I cant afford myself for medicine as international student? do u think i should still try to USA for medicine(after pre-med) in a hope that i will get scholarships?
are there any medical school in the USA or Canada that offer full scholarships??
Any info would be kindly appreciated. Thanks.

There are a large number of medical students in the USA who are foreign nationals. From that standpoint, go for it. As for financial aid in the USA, there are many types of financial aid that are not available to foreign nationals. Nearly all foreign nationals that have full scholarships for post-grad education have done so with fellowships and assistantships. Students selected for fellowships and assistantships are very small in number, especially for medical school, and so competition is fierce, as many doing post-graduate work have very strong academic credentials with superlative letters of recommendation. Unfortunately, money doesn’t grow on trees.
Canada provides much more to its citizens in the way of student loans. Canada’s immigration policies are much less restrictive than the USA’s. If you plan on returning home after med school, though, you probably don’t want to become a citizen of Canada.
