My name is not bruce Says:

Depends if your school is known in bangladesh. I just fnished my chem e degree……got a 33% on the final…..class average was a 35%……professor sent us an e-mail saying that anyone from india or china would have gotten a 100% on his exam. To some extent we in america respect your education…..at the same time….if its not like Bangladesh’s top school…….your grades might not mean anything.
Anyways…even in america…chem E is a 4 year degree and it takes roughly 5 years to do it for hte average student. If you have some work experience i’d just try to apply for american jobs. If that doesn’t work out for you…then go ahead and attempt to get a Masters.
I’ve been hearing form companies that they many times prefer foreign students. They are better than americans sometimes.
