Getting An Athletics Scholarship For Track And Field?

I’m a 17 year old male currently in my final year of high school in Australia. I have been competing in middle distance track and field for 3 years. I came in the top 5 at australian junior nationals for the two years that I have gone.
I am a middle distance runner, this season I should be running around 3:56 for 1500m and 1:54 for 800m.
Academically I am getting A’s in all my subjects.
What sort of scholarship could I get with these results?? Would I be able to get a full scholarship to a big college??

I’m a senior in High School too and am also going to college on a track and field scholarship; for javelin. I don’t know your GPA or SAT/ACT scores so it makes it harder to know, but if you have A’s and run those times then you will definitely get a scholarship somewhere.
Getting a full ride is very hard and some track teams don’t ever give out full rides. Each team has only 12.5 full athletic scholarships and they usually split them up between athletes. What will probably end up happening is that you will get like 50% athletic and if your grades and test scores are good enough, then the rest of you college will be paid with an academic scholarship.
But you need to pick your top 10 schools now! Every day counts, and email the coach. Also you have to apply for admission to a lot of schools by November 1st. So you really have to do it fast.
    good luck bro
