I went to a community college for a few years and then applied to go to a few schools for architecture. University of Southern California accepted me right away, although i turned it down to go to a school i felt was better for architecture. I was a bit shocked that i was accepted actually.
My grades in community college where average, high school grades probably below average, never participated in sports or activities, did not take SAT’s.
I know people that did not get accepted that where straight A students in high school and involved in lots of activities that where not accepted straight from high school.
I guess it is a whole lot easier to get into a school as a transfer student then straight from high school.
