Am An Africangirl Aged16 Desparatelywanting Toget Mycollegeeducation Inthe Usa But I Lack Aid What Should I Do
Am an average student and inorder to achieve my goals and pursue my intended career I need to continue my education in the usa or uk because my country,uganda,being a third world country doesn’t offer some opportunities that the usa would or even any other foreign country.I visited the states when my mum was studying at the john hopkins uni on a scholarship and I got to join a debate club in one of the public schools nearby where I impressed the teachers due to my confidence despite being in a foreign land.This opened my mind to know that given the chance to study with those foreigners I would do excellently.Guess this is enough info please some one give me an answer.

IT SHOULD HURT TO APPLY FOR AID EVERYONE ELSE DOES WHY NOT YOU. AND DON’T BE AFRAID WHAT NOBODY SAY OR DO JUST HELP YOU HEAD UP HIGH, AND DON’T LOOK BACK.
First, find out which universities you are interested in. If you are not sure, check out “America’s Best Colleges” here:http://www.usnews.com/sections/rankings
Once you find a few schools that interest you, write to the Admissions Office and Financial Aid Office. Tell them your situation, and ask them what sort of assistance they offer to international students. Each school may have a different way for you to apply, so you will need to ask each school about their procedures. They may be able to give you better advice, than we can here on Yahoo Answers!
