Advice From Pre-meds? Or Current Med. Students? Please…?

Hi, I’m currently a senior in HS and hope to get into medical school one day. I have a high GPA (4.4), lived in germany for 3 years, swim team, JROTC, extracurriculars etc…
I currently live in Florida and am enrolled full time as a dual enrollment student meaning that I am basically getting a years worth of college IF i transfer to any florida public university.
So, my question is…should I go to a Florida University such as UCF or UF for pre-med? Those schools will be free for me since I qualify for full scholarship and I also would only have to do three years there…
OR should I apply to Bryn Mawr, Smith, Wellesley, Barnard….the small liberal arts colleges that I was planning to go to before I moved to Florida and found out about their academic programs. It would be more expensive and I’d have to do 4 years there………..but do you think it is worth it?
Is it harder to be a pre-med at a large university? Does it really matter where you go? I want to be a Chemistry major and I’m kind of leaning towards doing dermatology (my dad is a dermatologist and graduate of columbia university and georgetown medical…and my mom is a retired pediatrician and graduate of columbia U and columbia medical…..i am DEFINATELY no where near as smart as they are..and you would THINK they could give me some advice, but all they’ve told me is that you have to go to a good college in order to get into a good med. school in order to get into a good residency..)…
SO i’d appreciate any help from people who’ve gone through this.
